I AM…

This morning as I was flipping through my Bible, I came across a list a friend had given to me.  It’s a sweet reminder of all that my God is, and I’d like to share it with you… “O taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8

Try Me.  You will be delighted.  I AM…

…cold water on a hot day.

…the scent of coffee brewing.

…a chocolate melting in your mouth.

…twinkling stars in a night sky.

…sunshine sparkling on snow.

…a good book on a rainy day.

…the cozy crackle of your campfire.

…the hint of spring in the air.

…the fragrance of a rose.

…freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

Image

…a cool breeze on a warm day.

…ocean water spraying your face.

…a rainbow in the clouds.

…the brilliant leaves of autumn.

Image

…chocolate milk and Oreo cookies.

the “I love you” at the end of a phone call.

…the fuzzy warmth of your favorite sweater.

…the hues of a sunset.

…the tickle of green grass to your bare toes.

…the contagious giggle of a child.

…the smell of popcorn.

…a donut on your coffee break.

…soap bubbles reflecting sunrays.

…rain drumming on a tin roof.

…the music of a rocky creek.

Image

…a mug of hot chocolate warming your fingers.

…the softness of your pillow.

…the scent of pine needles.

…smoke drifting from a chimney.

…a trip to the cabin.

I AM whatever causes a deep, delirious burst of delight erupting into a twirl of happiness and song of joy.  I AM all that…and much more! -Jesus

What about you?  Where do you find Jesus?  How do you taste and see His goodness?

My prayer is that your eyes could be open…and that your heart would be blessed as you taste and see.
