Waiting for You

Big news, you guys…I’ve been waiting until we had this photo shoot finished so I could have fun announcing it via pictures… (Photo Credits go to Joyce Nolt)

We are so EXCITED to announce that we are starting foster parenting!

We believe God has called us to build our family by adoption through the foster care system and are working with a local agency.  We just started the process, so it will be a little while until we are placed.

Will you please pray for us?  We know foster care is not easy.  We know adoption is not guaranteed.  But we know that God has called us to provide a home for a child that needs it, and we’re saying yes.

God has been working in awesome ways in our lives…and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!  We’ve already begun praying for the children we hope to one day call our own.  We’re praying for the birth parents, the caseworker, the judge- for all involved.  The beautiful foster-to-adopt story also holds sadness from broken homes and hurting hearts.  This isn’t about us becoming parents- this is about us giving a loving home to someone who needs it.  Thank you for prayers!
